Jenkins signs five-year contract extension

Forward Josh Jenkins has rebuffed interest interstate to sign a new five-year deal with Adelaide.

The long-term contract will keep the in-form Jenkins in Crows colours until at least the end of 2021.

The 27-year-old said he “couldn’t be happier” to commit his future to the Club.

“I mentioned from the very start that I was keen to stay in Adelaide. I always had that intention,” Jenkins said.

“I really believe in what we’ve built here and what we can continue to achieve going forward.

“The Club has created an environment where you can get the best out of yourself and more importantly players, coaches and staff have bought into the team-first culture.

“We’re all here for success. The reason I’ve been more than happy to commit for so long is because I don’t think we’re far away from that.”
