The AFL have confirmed two Hall of Fame inductees and legends of both the Adelaide and Richmond football clubs have been asked to present the premiership cup to the winning side.
Should the Crows triumph on Saturday, premiership captain Mark Bickley will hand the trophy over to Don Pyke and Taylor Walker, while if the Tigers are victorious, team of the century member Matthew Richardson with present the cup to Damien Hardwick and Trent Cotchin.
Bickley told the club's website he would be honoured to present the cup to the Crows.
โIt is a great honour and if Adelaide is good enough to win, I would be humbled to pass the baton on so to speak,โ Bickley told afc.com.au.
โI consider it a privilege to be part of such a great Club and am proud of everyone who has worked there past and present.
โCredit to Don Pyke and Taylor Walker and the rest of the guys for what they have been able to achieve and like all the fans I am desperate to see them hold up the cup on Saturday.
โEvery club has a story to tell but Adelaide has shown remarkable resilience and determination.โ
