Essendon and Fremantle have both made list changes ahead of Thursday's deadline.

The Bombers have delisted Mitch Brown after 55 games for the club, originally crossing from Geelong in 2015.

Essendon general manager Dan Richardson thanked Brown for his contributions to the club.

“On behalf of the club, I would like to thank Mitch for his service throughout his four years at Essendon,” Richardson told essendonfc.com.au.

“Mitch showed tremendous leadership both on and off the field and allowed great versatility to our line-up. We wish Mitch all the best in his future endeavours.”

The Dockers have delisted Hugh Dixon and Tom North but are commited to re-drafting them to the rookie list in late November.

“Tom and Hugh are highly valued players at Fremantle who are contracted for the 2020 season and we’re committed to taking both of them in the upcoming rookie draft,” Fremantle football boss Peter Bell told fremantlefc.com.au.

“Following the 2019 Trade Period, we have a strong draft hand and this move will give us even greater flexibility in the upcoming National Draft.

“We held two picks in the first four rounds heading into the Trade Period, compared to the five we currently hold, which includes two top-10 selections.”
