Carlton defender Jacob Weitering may find himself in hot water with the Match Review Officer after he was placed on report for striking on Sunday afternoon.
During the first quarter of action between the Blues and Hawks at the MCG, Weitering appeared to strike Hawthorn's Lloyd Meek off the ball, with the adjudicating umpire placing the key defender on report for the first time in his career.
Weitering's contact with Meek looked to go to the Hawk's neck, which would result in an MRO grading of 'high' contact, with the likely determining factor being whether or not Michael Christian believes the act's impact was low.
Does Jacob Weitering have anything to worry about after this incident?

Blanck played out Sunday's contest but the incident is still likely to be examined closely after Brisbane's Lincoln McCarthy was suspended one game for striking Richmond's Kamdyn McIntosh on Thursday night in what appeared a similar incident.
Any potential sanction for Weitering will be handed down on Monday evening when the MRO files its charge sheet from Sunday's slate of games.
Carlton is fixtured to play Fremantle at Optus Stadium in Round 17.
