Plenty of young stars have left the Giants since the club first entered the AFL. We have looked at which players have left the expansion club for a new team and named a best 22 of former players, showing just how much talent the Giants have had at their disposal!

The likes of Adam Treloar, Taylor Adams and Tom Boyd would likely still be in the Giants' best 22.

But it's scary to think which other players would not be in the in GWS' best 22, demonstrating the incredible depth at the club.

GWS received a plethora of draft concessions to amass the talent on its list. In 2012, the club received draft selections 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 15, as well as being allowed to have 50 players on the list and an extra salary cap allowance.

The Giants were also allowed to sign up to 16 current AFL players who were uncontracted for the 2012 season and 10 players who had previously nominated for the national draft but were not selected.

In 2013, the club also had the No.1 and No.2 picks in the National Draft and were once again permitted to sign 16 uncontracted players and 10 players who had been overlooked in the National Draft.

Do you think this team would be a strong outfit at AFL level in the current competition?
