The AFL has confirmed its integrity unit will on Monday query Hayden Ballantyne after the Fremantle forward was captured using his mobile phone in the changerooms.
Ballantyne suffered a minor hamstring injury early in the second quarter of the Dockers’ 10-goal thrashing of Richmond on Friday.
He cut a frustrated figure as he went to the Mandurah rooms for treatment, but was then caught by Fox Footy cameras talking on the phone while the match was being played.
Under strict AFL integrity regulations, players are banned from using phones during matches to stamp out the leaking of sensitive information that could be used for betting or other corrupt activities.

Good, he’s not above the rules
Now strip naked and get on the probulator.
Give him 12 months. Rules are rules.
I doubt this is the first time he’s been probed
Chrissy Pensabene Teressa Trezise Lisa MacLean …. Good to see the AFL is really focused on the big issues … Considering it took them 3 years to deal with Essendon, this should be over quick .. hahahahha
Obviously trying to make the NAB cup games look more important than what everyone thinks and knows they are!
Lisa MacLean yep .. They’re really focusing on the big issues …
Somebody trying to be important in the AFL
Probe hey?
Was he on the field or on the bench? If not who cares? If Lyon don’t care then the afl shouldnt
Hopefully they question him in person and not over the phone.
How dumb are these blokes rules states no body is to have there phone just before or during a game
He was calling his mum. He had school the next day and she wanted to know what time he would be home.
He probably called his Dad, Herman about his injury.
