Mike Brady will perform his iconic Up There Cazaly live from the MCG during this year's pre-game Grand Final entertainment.

The AFL announced today that Brady will perform at the MCG, the usual home of the Grand Final, and have his performance broadcasted on the big screens at the Gabba.

"It's always an honour to be a part of the AFL Grand Final entertainment and I still get a thrill performing my song after all these years," Brady said.

"I'm delighted to be included in this extraordinary year's Grand Final and I'm looking forward to it immensely".

In other Grand Final news, Byron Pickett will present the Norm Smith Medal, Malcolm Blight the Jock McHale Medal, and Simon Black will be the premiership cup ambassador, per Fox Footy's Tom Morris.

Pickett won the Norm Smith Medal as a part of Port Adelaide's 2004 premiership side.

Blight coached Adelaide to back-to-back premierships in 1997 and 1998, while Black was a member of the Lions' historic three-peat side between 2001 and 2003, winning the Norm Smith himself in 2003.

The 2020 AFL Grand Final will take place at the Gabba on Saturday the 24th of October.
