It has been another busy week of AFL trade news and rumours, with the trade talk heading into a frenzy once again ahead of the 2021 exchange period.

The Crows, Giants and Blues are in the thick of it all once again as sides start preparing list management calls for this year's meat market.

Crows part ways with veteran forward

Adelaide will not offer out-of-contract veteran Tom Lynch a new deal for next season.

The club confirmed on Tuesday that the 2021 season will be the 30-year-old's last at West Lakes.

Saints star on rival’s radar

Port Adelaide are understood to be showing interest in St Kilda free agent Jack Billings.

It is understood that the Power have "preliminary interest" in the Saints midfielder's services, according to Fox Sports' Tom Morris.

The 25-year-old remains unsigned at Moorabbin past this season despite St Kilda having reportedly placed an extension to him.

Giants superstar re-signs

Greater Western Sydney superstar Josh Kelly has re-signed with the Giants, triggering an eight-year extension to remain at the club.

Kelly will turn down rival offers and remain in the Harbour City until the end of the 2029 season, a deal worth close to $8 million.

The deal will now make Kelly a Giant until the end of his career, where he will now add to his 152 games in the orange and charcoal.

FIVE potential landing spots for Tom Lynch

After a fair bit of speculation, 30-year-old forward utility Tom Lynch has been told by Adelaide that he is surplus to requirements after ten seasons at West Lakes.

His ability to push up the ground is a valuable asset to his side, however his personal form has gone similar to the trajectory of his club, with his best season arguably being 2017 - when Adelaide almost went all the way.

Circling clubs cool interest on promising Swan

Swans gun Jordan Dawson is reportedly on the cusp of signing a new deal with the Swans despite interest from a number of rival clubs, per Fox Footy's Tom Morris.

Dawson, who has played 61 games for Sydney since his debut in 2017, is out-of-contract at the end of the season and has been attracting attention, specifically in his home state of South Australia.

“Gettable” Hawk reportedly facing unclear future

Hawthorn veteran Jack Gunston is understood to be seen as a "gettable" trade option for rival clubs this off-season, per The Age's Daniel Cherny.

The 29-year-old remains contracted to the Hawks until the end of next season, however his future is reportedly unclear as the club undergoes a rebuild and coaching handover that will see Sam Mitchell succeed four-time premiership coach Alastair Clarkson.

Blues named in chase for exciting Giants youngster

GWS Giants spearhead Jake Riccardi is being monitored by several Victorian clubs on his current contract situation, with Carlton named as one keen suitor to land the 21-year old's services, per The Herald Sun.

Riccardi burst onto the scene in 2020, booting six goals in his first two games and earning a rising star nomination whilst drawing comparisons to legendary key forwards such as Wayne Carey, Matthew Pavlich and Nick Riewoldt.

Cerra decision down to two clubs

Adam Cerra has narrowed down his playing future to just two teams with a decision to be made possibly within the next two weeks.

Tom Morris is reporting that Cerra will either stay at Fremantle or request a trade to Carlton.

Crows free agent “shopped to rival clubs”

Adelaide star Matt Crouch is tipped to follow in the footsteps of his brother and depart West Lakes in taking up his free agency rights.

According to SEN's Sam Edmund, the Crows midfielder has reportedly been placed on offer to rival clubs in hope of gauging interest from potential suitors.

Edmund reports that the Crows are "open" to the idea, prompting strong belief the 26-year-old won't be at the club next season.

Carlton set to lock up veteran for another year

Seasoned Blue Ed Curnow has signed a one-year contract extension to remain at Carlton for a 12th season.

The 31-year-old played his 200th career game against the North Melbourne Kangaroos last month and is one of only four Blues to play every match in 2021 thus far, with Sam WalshAdam Saad and Jacob Weitering the other three.

Key defender to depart Crows

Former All-Australian defender Daniel Talia has been informed by the Adelaide Crows that he won't be offered a new contract for 2022 and beyond.

Talia has been unable to take the field at all in season 2021 as he recovered from a serious knee injury, followed by a foot injury.

Kangaroos free agent seen as “gettable”

Kangaroos midfielder Trent Dumont is understood to be "gettable" this off-season, with Essendon revealed as one rival club to have already shown interest in the North Melbourne free agent.

As reported by SEN's Sam Edmund, the 26-year-old could be lured away from Arden Street for the right price.
