Kelly yet to recommit to the Giants
Greater Western Sydney football manager Jason McCartney has claimed he hasn't lost any sleep about the fact that the club's star midfielder Josh Kelly has not signaled his intent to ink a new deal.
The Victorian reportedly has an eight year deal on the table with the Giants that would net the 26-year-old $1 million a season.
McCartney spoke on SEN earlier this week and stated that all parties were comfortable with the current impasse.

“While he’s playing the footy that he’s playing, it’s not concerning me too much at all to be honest. We feel like it sits in a really good space,” the former Kangaroo said.
“One thing our club spoke about with Josh and his management when we went to Melbourne … that adjustment and everything that’s going on, it’s hard to focus in on that to be honest.
“We’re on the road, we’re away and the task of the competition each week, it’s just a different environment. It’ll play out. I feel really confident with where it sits at the moment.
“We’ve got a bit of time to go yet.”
Despite long being linked with a return to his state of origin, Kelly echoed McCartney's sentiments.
“There’s a number of factors that go into a decision around contracts. It’s not something I’m investing too much time into at the moment,” he said.
“The club and I are really happy with where things are at and we’ve always said there will be no rush, so everything’s all good at the moment.”
Irrespective, until said deal is agreed upon, Kelly's services will continue to be sought by clubs everywhere.
Lynch no certainty to remain with Adelaide
Injury ravaged Crows conduit Tom Lynch has reportedly been told that a new contract with the club may not eventuate in the city of churches.
In a report from David Zita and Max Laughton of Fox Footy, the former Saint is said to have been alerted to the fact by current coach Matthew Nicks.
Speaking earlier in the week, Nicks was blunt in his appraisal of Lynch's chances of continuing his career with the Crows.
“There’s no guarantee for him,” he said.
“And we have been reasonably open and honest with him about that.
“If he plays good football over the next six weeks ... if (a new contract) is the best thing for our footy club going forward and Tom Lynch is part of that, we find a way to get it done.”

Despite proving a more than handy link in Adelaide's chains forward in the past, the former first round pick has found it hard to get on the park of late.
Although the 31-year-old has been selected to line-up this weekend, it will be the forward's first game in a red, yellow and blue jumper since Anzac Day.
When quizzed about what Lynch would need to do to earn a place on his list in 2022, Nicks stated that there were many variables at play.
“It’s not purely about Tom Lynch and his football ability,” he said.
“It’s also about our list and our development and our growth, what is going to be best for our group, how many guys are we looking to pick up in the draft this year, what selections we will have.
“We don’t know a lot of that until well and truly after the season finishes.
Deep-pocket Port set to hit the market
A 'cashed up' Port Adelaide appear certain to bolster their list with ready made talent at this year's trade period, per a report from Simeon Thomas-Wilson of The Advertiser.
Following views that the Alberton club is light on for midfield talent, Power Chief Executive Matthew Richardson stated publicly this week that this supposed dearth was something that would be rectified this off-season.
“We are in a position, Chris (Davies) and Jason (Cripps) have done a terrific job in managing our list profile over the last couple of years and TPP (Total Player Payments),” he said.

“From a financial perspective yes we could do that. I guess the thing is are those players available that are going to improve our lists.
“And that is the work that Jason and his team are doing continuously throughout the year.”
Thomas-Wilson highlighted that current Adelaide midfielder Matt Crouch could be name on Port's radar, given that the midfielder's name is currently on the trade table at West Lakes.
St Kilda pair Jack Billings and South Australian born Luke Dunstan have also been raised as possibilities.
Neither Billings or Dunstan have contracts with the Moorabbin based club for next season.
