Geelong midfielder Quinton Narkle has signed a one-year contract extension with the Cats for next season.
The 23-year-old has had his future highly speculated throughout this season, with links to Fremantle and Richmond placing some questions over Narkle's tenure at Kardinia Park.
Now the crafty Cat has signed an extension to remain in the hoops for a further 12 months.

Narkle has found opportunities under Chris Scott limited at times during the course of his five years in Geelong, playing just the 33 matches.
Injuries and form have kept the Perth product out of Scott's preferred lineup, having managed just 17 appearances before 2021.
Narkle featured for the Cats on 16 occasions this season, although was utilised as a medical sub on five occasions, four of which going unused.
“The club is excited that Quinton has committed to 2022 and we believe he will play a significant role,” Geelong’s general manager of football Simon Lloyd said on the announcement.
“While there has been speculation about Quinton potentially leaving, our conversations throughout the year have been extremely positive."
When given an opportunity however, Narkle did show glimpses of deserved minutes, including an eight-clearance outing against Richmond in Round 19 despite just 34% time on ground.
Narkle's retention is a great acquisition for the Cats, who still have a string of young names weighing up their future.
Speedster Jordan Clark is understood to have met with Fremantle in the past week or so, as he too has been linked to a move back to his home state of Western Australia.
Young tall Nathan Kreuger is also out-of-contract in 2021, and is understood to be in the sights of the Saints and Magpies.
