Essendon have offered St Kilda a fourth-round selection in exchange for midfielder Nick Hind, per Fox Sports' Tom Morris.

The Saints are believed to be considering the offer, with Hind playing just the 10 matches in 2020.

Hind was a common star in Essendon's VFL side between 2017 and 2018 and was not handed a senior opportunity with the Bombers, soon joining the Saints as a mature age recruit.

The Bombers are keen to add speed to their midfield, with the club also eyeing Josh Dunkley and Jye Caldwell this trade period.

With the inclusion of Brad Crouch, the Saints may see Hind as a disposable asset.
