Collingwood has four of its first eight clashes locked away for the 2026 AFL season.

The Victorian powerhouse has been confirmed to face St Kilda (Opening Round) and Fremantle (Gather Round) in the league's marquee weekends during the early stages of the season.

However, the Pies also have much-awaited clashes on Anzac Day against Essendon, as well as the Easter Thursday game against Brisbane at the Gabba.

It then leaves little to the imagination for Collingwood fans in the opening seven rounds, with four match-ups all but confirmed.

The Pies, due to their participation in Opening Round, will get a bye, likely placed in Round 2 or 3.

The latter of those two weekends is the most likely for the bye hat will make up for Opening Round, given they fly to Brisbane for a Thursday night the following week.

Craig McRae's men will have back-to-back away trips, heading north to face the Lions before travelling to South Australia for a battle with the Dockers.

The full 2026 AFL fixture will be released on Thursday.
