The AFL has reportedly agreed to a new multi billion dollar TV rights deal, with an announcement imminent.

The Age has reported that the huge new deal is worth around $2 billion over six years.

Foxtel and Channel Seven appear to have won the rights once again, with the new agreement to start in 2017.

Channel Seven is expected to broadcast less games, but the Grand Final is expected to remain at the same time slot under the new broadcast deal and remain exclusive to Seven.
