Collingwood midfielder Taylor Adams isn't pleased with how the Pies have performed for most of 2017, and is upset his side won't be playing finals.
The Pies have won just eight and a half games so far this season, after beginning the year with a record of 5-10, and sitting as low as 17th after round eight.
Nathan Buckley's men are now officially out of the finals race with just two games to go and sit in 13th position, and that's something that angers the 23-year-old.
"We know we've put in a power of work over the last couple of years and we thought we deserved some results and some on-field success," Adams told RSN radio on Wednesday morning.
"I expected to play finals.
"My opinion is our list is good enough to play finals and we've let ourselves down."
After starting the season poorly, the Pies have lost just one of their past five matches, and Adams says the past month is closer to what Collingwood expects of themselves.
"I'm really p***ed off we're not playing finals and so is everyone else at the footy club," he said.
"There's no point dwelling on it and putting your head up your backside and not realising there's more opportunities to come.
"There's two games to go still and we'll sit back and review the year at the end of the year."
Despite Collingwood's problems this season, Adams doesn't think an overhaul of the list is necessary.
"We've got a promising and positive list and I'm excited about where our list is going and what we can achieve together," he said.
"I don't think it's a really dramatic thing where we need to go and sack players and get heaps of players in."
