Brisbane youngster Lewis Taylor is likely to leave the Lions at season's end, with the club and player unable to agree to terms on a new contract, according to the Herald Sun.

The Herald Sun has reported that Taylor, the 2014 rising star winner, is demanding $500,000 per year from the Lions in his new contract.

The 21-year-old, who is out of contract at season's end, has played 57 games since making his debut in Round 1, 2014.

His wage demands appear incredibly high given his age and form.

He has averaged just 16.2 disposals so far this season in 13 games, a significant drop from his average of 21 disposals last season. He is averaging 4.5 contested possessions and 1.2 goals per game.
