Young GWS forward Rory Lobb could seek a move home to Western Australia at season's end.

The Footy Show's Damien Barrett reported on Thursday night that the 23-year-old, who is contracted until the end of 2017, is entertaining the idea of moving to his home state, with both WA clubs aware of the possibility of him walking out of Greater Western Sydney.

Fremantle appear the side most likely to make the biggest play for Lobb, with the looming retirements of Matthew Pavlich and Aaron Sandilands.

The forward has emerged as a key player for the Giants this season, booting 21 goals and averaging 4.6 marks, 4.8 score involvements and 11 disposals per game.

Lobb has played 30 games for the Giants since being selected with pick No.29 in the 2013 National Draft.
