West Coast is sweating on the fitness of defender Jeremy McGovern, forward Jack Darling and midfielder Elliot Yeo, ahead of the Eagles' important clash with Geelong at Simonds Stadium on Saturday.

Darling hyper-extended his back during the Eagles' 62 point win over Collingwood in Sunday and will face a fitness test later in the week, but is expected to fit to make the trip to Geelong.

"He (Darling) is a bit sore," West Coast coach Adam Simpson said.

"It was a pretty big jar in his back. We've got a six-day break. It's quite hard to get everyone up after a six-day break. We'll see how they pull up today."

McGovern has not trained yet this week, after he rolling his ankle during the win, but he managed to play out the match, finishing with 17 disposals.

Meanwhile, midfielder Elliot Yeo, who missed last week's match with tonsillitis, trained lightly on Wednesday, but will continue to be monitored throughout the week before a definitive call on his selection is made.
