Carlton pair Marc Murphy and Liam Sumner have both suffered injuries during the Blues' match against Geelong at Etihad Stadium.
Murphy injured his ankle early in the opening quarter and went straight into the rooms.
The skipper returned to the bench soon after with his ankle heavily iced.
Meanwhile Liam Sumner's day is also over after leaving the field with an injury.
However, the injuries have not stopped Carlton stunning the Cats in the first half, to lead by 20 points at the main break.
