Adam Treloar has released a statement regarding criticism of his comments about choosing Collingwood over Richmond.
Treloar said on Wednesday that he chose Collingwood over Richmond because he believes they have a better list than and are closer to winning a flag than the Tigers.
Richmond legend and SEN radio hot Kevin Bartlett labelled Treloar "delusional" over his comments.
Treloar's statement:
I never once had a dig at Richmond, I thanked them heaps for there interest and effort in me and I wish them nothing but the best, they are a very good team.
I got asked the question why I choose to play for the pies, and of course people are going to disagree with me because people have different opinions, it's human nature.
But don't judge me as a person because of a game that only takes up such a small part of my life. ITS JUST A GAME. So much more important things in life then football. i.e Family/Friends, tragic events that happened in Paris. Passing of Jonah Lomu at such a young age.
Think about your priorities and the stuff that is going on in the world, rather then having a crack at someone over a game that we play. I'm very grateful for my opportunity to play for the Collingwood Football Club.
Dream Team is not the original SuperCoach was in the maerkt ahead of Dream Team. Also, SC is far better as a game, as it actually rewards the better players. DT rewards the guys who get cheap kicks in a blowout. SC rewards the guys who win the matches. Just look at the top 5 from any match in the respective points scoring. SC also has a higher first prize. And yes, I do work for News, but still, if you look at the scoring, SC is a better game.
