If the Cats want to prise Brett Deledio away from Richmond, they will have to pay a high price.
The Tigers yesterday ruled out a play for Geelong speedster Steven Motlop, but have another Cats’ youngster in their sights.
Caddy has a strong connection with Richmond, with good friend Dion Prestia set to join the Tigers this trade period, while former Geelong football manager, Neil Balme has recently joined the club. He is also said to be close with former Cats assistant coach, Blake Caracella, who is now at Punt Road.
Josh Caddy has emerged as the name Richmond wants from Geelong in return for Deledio. Close with Prestia, Balme connection. @traderadio now
