AFLNT has unveiled its list of the top 40 footballers from the Northern Territory as it narrows the search for its team of the century.

The list includes players who starred at AFL level who began their careers in the Northern Territory, as well as local legends who played their entire careers up north.

  1. Quite simply, he didn’t play enough footy or enough good footy.
    Was far and away the most talented of the 3 brothers, but as far as careers go I would rate Greg’s career above Adrian.

  2. You are right Theo, this is pretty weird.
    I just looked up the brothers history and the only thing that makes any sense is that Peter played in Darwin for St Marys and Shaun never played in the NT.
    Their father played for Port in the SANFL and grew up on a mission outside Ceduna and also played for St Marys in Darwin.
    Peter and Shaun were both born in Darwin and moved back down to Sth Aust in 1985. Peter was 7 and Shaun 3 then.
