The Brisbane Lions are reportedly willing to trade Irishman Pearce Hanley as the club continues the monumental task of rebuilding its list.

Fox Sports reports that Hanley "is on the radar of a couple of clubs including Gold Coast".

The club is said to be willing to trade the 27-year-old if it can secure a draft pick inside the top 10.

Hanley, who is contracted for 2017, played every game this season, averaging 21.2 disposals. He is yet to indicate a desire to leave the club, however, the Lions intend to gather a raft of high draft picks in this year's draft, which could well result in speedster's departure.

Meanwhile, Lions small forward Josh Green is also reportedly set to leave the club, with Essendon a possible suitor for the 24-year-old, who has kicked 107 goals in 81 games.

  1.  Brisbane like GCS both are chasing jarrod Witts.
28 year old for a 23 year old Rickman. I don’t think Collingwood would be prepared to exchange Witts for Hanley but maybe. they need to be quick as i believe GCS are close to doing a deal with Collingwood.

  2. You could have had Witts for nothing as part of the Beams deal but chose not to -instead gave us an awesome player in Jack Crisp. Just another sorry tale in your clubs decision making last few years. Worst thing for Beamsy as he will never play finals again at that rabble of a club.
