Sydney is keen to add pace to its half back line, with Tuohy’s ability to break lines particularly appealing.

The 26-year-old, who is out of contract, has been offered a new deal by the Blues, believed to be a two-year offer, however, he is yet to re-sign, with the Roos reportedly offering a more lucrative deal.

Tuohy played every game in 2016, averaging 20 disposals, 3.6 marks and 2.2 tackles per game.

  1. One trick pony who doesn’t know how to get his own ball and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him lay a tackle. If he’s holding out for a bigger contract, trade him but is he a restricted free agent?

    • That’s your opinion and I’m entitled to mine. To be honest, I was a fan of him and I know he can kick the leather off it but watching him this year, he misses field targets and turns the ball over quite a bit. Teams are all over him sneaking forward now, so rarely gets an accurate shot off.

    • LOL here we go… No, just stating my opinion because I was bored. Sure, yep pay the guy a shit load and offer him a 4 yr contract. That would be smart wouldn’t it, especially since we’re trying to get Marchbank across. Never said he wasn’t a decent player but we’re we are at, I’m merely making the point that if he’s holding the club to ransom, let him go. Great to keep him but not for overs.
