Sydney has made a further three changes to its list following the grand final loss to the Western Bulldogs earlier this month.

Xavier Richards, Jack Hiscox and Abaina Davis have all been informed that their contracts will not be renewed for season 2017.

“We would like to thank Xavier, Jack and Abaina for the contribution they made to the Club,” Sydney head of football Tom Harley said.

“All three players worked tirelessly while at the Swans and should be proud of their efforts.

“We wish Xavier, Jack and Abaina all the best for the future.”

Richards played 12 games for the Swans in four season, including this year’s grand final.

Hiscox played one senior match for the Swans, while Davis failed to make a senior appearance for the club.

  1. Savage on Richards. Was in their best team at the end of the year
But I guess that’s what you get when have one half-decent year and tell the club you want to be traded. Over estimated his value massively.

    • Yeah I’m not sure of the story here must of been told he’s not required for 2017. He’s ok but I’m not sold on him, there is obviously a club that he’s already organised to go to.
