Sydney youngster Zak Jones is set to miss the next four to six weeks due to an ankle injury, the club has confirmed.

Jones injured his ankle during the last quarter of the Swans' five-point loss to Hawthorn on Thursday night.

Sydney confirmed on Monday morning that scans have revealed a high ankle sprain. If he misses the full six weeks, he will miss the remainder of the home and away season.

Jones has played 29 career games, including 14 this season, cementing his place in the senior side, averaging 13.9 disposals per game.
