St Kilda youngster Luke Dunstan has conceded that his season is most likely over after injuring his should during the Saints' win over Calton on the weekend.

Dunstan underwent scans on Monday after dislocating his shoulder during the 71-point win on Sunday.

While, it is not confirmed, he is expected to undergo season ending surgery in the coming days.

“It’s probably season over for me which is disappointing, the way the boys have been playing and improving each week.” Dunsan told FoxSports News on Monday.

“They got it back in first go, it’s been alright since then.

“I’ve had some pain killers and I didn’t get a whole lot of sleep, but feeling alright now."

Dunstan had similar surgery on his right shoulder back in 2014.

He has played 18 of a possible 19 games this season, averaging 17.4 disposals, 10.1 handballs, 7.3 kicks, 2.4 kicks and 4.8 tackles per game.
