Rohan Connolly’s final eight

Speaking on SEN Radio on Wednesday afternoon, AFL journalist Rohan Connolly, who also works for Melbourne newspaper, The Age, has predicted how the final eight will look at the end of Round 23.

Connolly found no room for St Kilda or Port Adelaide, who are knocking on the door of the eight, instead predicting North Melbourne to hold on to their place in eighth spot.

  1. Hawthorn
  2. Geelong
  3. Adelaide
  4. GWS
  5. Sydney
  6. Western Bulldogs
  7. West Coast
  8. North Melbourne

Do you agree with Connolly’s predictions?

  1. Saints on their best day can beat anyone but given our inconsistency this year I actually don’t want us to make the finals. There would be nothing worse than stealing that 8th spot and have to travel to Perth or Sydney and then get thumped. Finish 9th this year, get another 17-22 games into the kids next season and then do some real damage in the finals.
