Luckless Richmond youngster Ben Lennon has suffered another injury setback, with a shoulder injury set to keep him on the sidelines for up to six weeks.

AFL.com.au has reported that the 20-year-old will undergo surgery on Wednesday after suffering the injury at training last week.

It continues a horrendous run of injuries for the young midfielder, with two concussions in the VFL keeping him out of action for the past three weeks.

He has managed just two senior games this season, for a total of 18 matches with the Tigers since being selected with pick No.12 in the 2013 National Draft.
