Young Gold Coast star Jaeger O'Meara is reportedly weighing up a move to a Victorian club next year.

The Herald Sun has reported that O'Meara's manager will meet with the Suns on Wednesday to discuss his future, as he seriously considers a move south.

The 21-year-old, who has one year to run on his current contract, will most likely hold off contract talks until at least mid-year, as he focuses on re-capturing the form that saw him win the rising star award, after missing the entire 2015 season through injury.

His girlfriend is currently based in Melbourne which could also help sway his decision.
