Carlton look set to gain yet another Greater Western Sydney youngster.

Young defender and former top-10 draft pick, Caleb Marchbank requested a trade to Carlton last month, and now former No.4 draft pick Jarrod Pickett looks set to join him at Princess Park.

Fox Sports reports that Pickett, who is contracted for next season, is all but certain to be traded to the Blues over the next fortnight.

The 20-year-old missed the majority of 2016 after suffering a Lisfranc fracture in the NEAFL in April.

He is yet to play a senior game after being recruited in 2014, but kicked 26 goals from 17 games in the NEAFL in 2015, playing as a small forward/midfielder.

Carlton has already been in the headlines this week, with both Bryce Gibbs and Zach Tuohy requesting trades from the club on the opening day of the trade period.
