REPORTS: Bulldogs midfielder likely to join Bombers

Western Bulldogs midfielder Koby StevensΒ is reportedly likely to join Essendon this off-season.

FoxSports‘ Jake Niall has reported that the Bombers are very keen on the 25-year-old, with the two parties a “long way down the road” in negations.

Stevens has played 74 games with the Bulldogs in seven seasons, but has failed to cement a regular spot in the senior side under Luke Beveridge, playing 24 games over the past two years.

The Gold Coast Suns are also said to be interested, however, the Bombers are currently the front runners to secure his signature.

He has averaged 17.7 disposals, 3.3 marks, 3.6 tacklesΒ and 2.4 inside 50s per game in his career.

    • Not bad at all a scrapper but a good one at that I rate him just can’t get a gig with all our superstars running around out there Essendon will suit him if Goddard doesn’t start having a sook at him on field haha

    • Yeah Terry Monteiro . Doggies will loose some fringe players. Ling Jong too might go to the Suns. Hrovat might go as well. Difficult to keep them specilly Crameri is back and may be Cloke.
