Collingwood has officially entered the race to sign suspended Essendon star Michael Hurley.

Pies coach Nathan Buckley confirmed on Monday night that the club is interested in the 26-year-old.

“I don’t know anyone that wouldn’t be interested in an A-grade talent,” Buckley said on Fox Footy’s AFL 360.

“Yeah we have (expressed interest in Hurley). We’ve spoken to his manager and his management.

“Any time an A-grade talent wants to look elsewhere, we’ll be in the mix.”

Hurley has also attracted interest from the Western Bulldogs, Melbourne, St Kilda and Adelaide.
