North Melbourne has re-signed key players Majak Daw, Jarrad Waite and Sam Gibson.

Daw has signed a new three-year deal keeping him at the club until the end of the 2019 season.

The 195cm ruck/forward option, rejected lucrative rival offers, namely from the Brisbane Lions, to re-commit to the Roos.

“I’m really excited to sign another contract extension and remain at the Roos,” Daw told the club's website.

“I’ve been at North Melbourne since 2009 and couldn’t see myself playing anywhere else.

“The club has been great to me and so have the fans, who I think are definitely the most passionate in the AFL.”

Waite and Gibson have both signed one-year contract extensions.

Meanwhile, young ruckman Braydon Preuss has signed a two-year contract extension and has been elevated onto the senior list, while midfielder Will Fordham has signed a one-year extension and will remain on the club's rookie list.
