Magpies pair reportedly up for trade

Collingwood has already been active this trade and free agency period, snaring Daniel Wells and Chris Mayne via free agency, while Brisbane captain Tom Rockliff is also rumoured to be in the Pies’ sights.

However, a pair of Magpies could also be headed out the door, with James Aish and Levi Greenwood reportedly put on the trade table by the club.

Damian Barrett reports that both players have been offered to at least one club as trade bait.

However, it would appear to be a strange decision from Collingwood, given the pair only recently arrived at the club.

Aish was recruited by the Pies just last year and played 15 games this season, after two year with the Lions, while Greenwood crossed to Collingwood in 2014 after seven seasons and 74 games with North Melbourne.

  1. Hmmmm. Not sure I believe it. Aish is going to be great. He improved so much and is very very reliable with the ball. Nathan Bungey thinks he’s our next Steele and I agree.

  2. Seriously, how does this idiot get a job in the media?? Oh, thats right you don’t need a scrap of credibility to write this shit. Barrett, Robbo, Carro – all cut from the same cloth.

  3. So Deledio just wants to get the fuck out of Richmond….willing to give up 800k a year to take 300k at another club so he can stop feeling like he’s had his dick slammed in a car door

    • I think the coach is coaching for his career, his spinning all the magnets haha. It is boom or bust for us next year, otherwise all hell will break loose up high in management I think

    • Jordan Hall seems like that! Will be interesting to see how next season unfolds. I reckon bucks needs the chop no matter what. He’s done nothing for the club as a coach!

    • I’m backing him to turn it around next year 👍 but I think if we lose the first 4 or 5 matches I guarantee you he’ll get sacked, that’s how much pressure he’ll be under

  4. wat r we doin putting these 2 up for trade aish’s back half of the season was outstanding and greenwood plays a good tagging role and we’ll need a good tagger with the retirement of macaffer

  5. so aish given 1 year…he’s never going to better unless he has time. needs to go to a club that has patience. probably ones like carlton, swans who have patience with young players
