Following the Bulldogs' progression to the Grand Final, the Tigers now have the longest active Grand Final drought.

Before winning their way through to the big dance on Saturday, the Bulldogs had not played in a Grand Final in 55 years (since 1961).

They now pass the baton to Richmond, who have not played in a Grand Final in 34 years.
