during the round five AFL match between the St Kilda Saints and the Greater Western Sydney Giants at Etihad Stadium on April 24, 2016 in Melbourne, Australia.

Greater Western Sydney youngster Jack Steele has officially joined the Saints.

St Kilda has traded the club's 2017 future second round draft pick to the Giants in exchange for the 20-year-old.

Steele has played 17 games for GWS over two years at the club, averaging 15 disposals per game.

“Jack wanted to explore other opportunities and we feel this trade satisfies everyone involved," GWS General Manager Football Wayne Campbell said.

“While disappointed that Jack is moving on, this trade puts us in a strong position for the 2017 draft to continue to bring in the best talent to our football club.

“We thank Jack for his contribution over the past two seasons and wish him all the best for the rest of his career."

He was selected with pick No.24 in the 2014 National Draft.
