Former Richmond and Port Adelaide full forward Jay Schulz and ex-Melbourne ruckman and most recently Essendon top-up player, Mark Jamar will lace up for St. Kevin's Old Boys in the Victorian Amateur Football Association.

Schulz, 31, was delisted by the Power at the end of this season and was unable to find a new home during the delisted free agency period.

“Jay’s been an outstanding player at AFL ranks over a number of years for Richmond and Port Adelaide and we’re absolutely thrilled he’s agreed to play with St Kevin’s next year,” St Kevin’s Director of Football, Michael Christian told VAFA Media.

“He’s multi-functional in the sense he’s not a one-dimensional player.

“He’s very well-rounded, he’s quick on the lead, a strong and spectacular overhead mark and he is a beautiful set shot for goal.”

Jamar was let go by the Demons in 2015 after 155 games in 13 seasons, before signing a one-year deal to play as a top-up player for the Bombers in 2016.

The pair are not the only former AFL players part of the club, with former North Melbourne star and Norm Smith Medalist Shannon Grant signing on to coach the side in 2017.

St. Kevin's finished season 2016 in eighth place on the ladder.
