The Bombers have released the following statement on youngster Gach Nyuon:
"Essendon rookie, Gach Nyuon, will be required to attend counselling, work with the Club’s community department and will receive a suspended fine for breaching Club protocols last weekend.
The Club understands this matter remains the subject of a police investigation and takes the allegations seriously.
In consultation with the Leadership Group, the Club will determine if any further action is required when this process has been completed."
