Hawthorn will regain four-time premiership player, Cyril Rioli, for its clash with Melbourne on the weekend.

Rioli was a late withdrawal for the Hawks' 19-point win over Carlton on Saturday, but he told Fox Sports on Wednesday he is confident he will take his place in the side this weekend.

“The body’s feeling fine,” Rioli told Fox Sports.

“I’m pretty confident going into the game this weekend. I’ve got a big session tomorrow so we’ll see how things pull up. But I’m fully confident given the way things are going.”

Meanwhile, teammate Paul Puopolo will have to prove his fitness before being named in the side.

“I saw him today. He seems like he’s in good spirits,” Rioli said.

“He’s got a bit of a niggle in his leg so I’m not too sure whether he’s going to play this week. But we need to definitely get him right for finals.”
