Greater Western Sydney Giants will reportedly target a small forward in this year's trade period, with Fremantle star Michael Walters on their radar, according to AFL.com.au.
The Giants are likely to try to lure Walters to Western Sydney in a deal involving want away forward, Cam McCarthy.
McCarthy has spent the entire season in Perth with family, after being granted time away from the Giants to deal with personal issues.
McCarthy tried to orchestrate a deal back home to the Dockers during last season's trade period, but GWS would not budge on the contract forward, who enjoyed a break out season in 2015.
The 21-year-old kicked 35 goals in 20 matches last season.
