Greater Western Sydney defender Adam Tomlinson is not going anywhere, according to his manager,  Nick Gieschen.

Tomlinson is contracted for next season, however, he has been the subject of several rumours this season, with many reports suggesting he wants to return home to Victoria.

However,  Gieschen rubbished such claims, telling AFL Trade Radio that Tomlinson will be a Giant in 2017, after an impressive back half of the season.

"Adam's had a really good end to the season playing down back. Adam's really looking forward to 2017 and hopefully taking another step forward with his footy," Gieschen said.

"With the Giants having such a talented list and a lot of good key position players over the last couple of years, he's been tried in a few different spots. With some of the injuries that occurred this year, he got to settle down back.

"He's extremely happy in Sydney."

Tomlinson played 15 games this season, including the last 10 games of the year.
