Fremantle midfielder Nick Suban is emerging as a likely trade target for several Victorian clubs this off-season.

Suban is contracted until the end of next season, however, with the Dockers' set to start a rebuild next year, some established names could be on the trade table.

AFL.com.au reports that "a number of Victorian clubs  are closely monitoring Suban's situation".

He was thought to be off-limits in previous seasons, however, that appears to have changed with many "long time admirers of the left-footer" ready to pounce.

The 26-year-old has played 144 games for the Dockers since making his debut in 2009.

He has played 15 games this season, averaging 13.1 disposals.

Teammate and free agent Chris Mayne is also widely tipped to seek a fresh start, while ruckman Zac Clarke has also attracted interest from rival clubs.
