Ex- St Kilda player Robert Eddy has had a crack at former coach Ross Lyon, before laying the boot into several fans on Twitter.
Eddy played 33 games for the Saints, including the 2010 grand final, before being delisted by Ross Lyon.
"0 and 8.... Oh how karma's a bitch. I love knowing my career and future is secure, unlike some," Eddy wrote on Twitter.

He then followed up with another tweet, perhaps trying to make up for his previous tweet directed at the Fremantle coach.
I will be forever grateful for the opportunities I was given. But just goes to show how brutal the business is. #neversecure

But it mattered little, with a number of fans getting stuck into Eddy for his first tweet.
The 28-year-old hit back at fans, with a range of tweets abusing Twitter users until the early hours of the morning.

when did I blame Ross Lyon? How many did you play? None, because your life is mediocre.

sometimes when you're a professional athlete you have to say things you don't mean. But you'd never understand that.
