Former Hawthorn premiership player Rick Ladson has shown he is a man of many talents, smashing a double century for Sedgwick Cricket Club in the Emu Valley Cricket Association.

Ladson came to the crease with his side struggling at 5-63, chasing Marong's first innings score of 170, before blasting 233 not out, in a knock that included 21 fours and 15 sixes.

Sedgwick finished up on 6-400 at the end of the day.
