Essendon rookie Gach Nyuon is reportedly expected to be charged with several offences, including "making threats to kill".

AFL.com.au reports that the 19-year-old, who was arrested by Police on Saturday night for being drunk and disorderly following an argument with an UBER driver, was interviewed by Police on Monday.

"A 19-year-old Keysborough man has been interviewed by police and is expected to be charged on summons with making threats to kill, criminal damage, resist police and being drunk in a public place," a Victorian Police spokeswoman told AFL.com.au.

Essendon released a statement on Sunday confirming the news, with the club likely to hand down a sanction of their own later this week.

"The club has spoken to Gach, and club management will consult with the leadership group to determine if any further action is required," the club said.
