West Coast football boss Craig Vozzo has denied the club has spoken to North Melbourne ruckman, Todd Goldstein.

Reports surfaced on Friday that Goldstein wants out of Arden Street due to personal issues, with the 28-year-old said to be seriously considering a move west.

However, Vozzo says that the star ruckman will not be at the Eagles next season.

“I reckon that one’s fiction, unless the coach is scheming something behind my back,” he said.

“He’s a wonderful player, but to get a player like that to your football club requires a fair bit of planning and he’s not one we’re able to do.”

While he ruled out a move for Goldstein, Vozzo confirmed the club's interest in Geelong's Nathan Vardy and Bulldog Will Minson, while delisted Roo Drew Petrie is also still in the mix.
