West Coast defender Sharrod Wellingham is in doubt for the Eagles' clash with Hawthorn this weekend due to knee injury.

The former Magpie twisted his left knee during the opening quarter of the Eagles' win over Greater Western Sydney last Saturday.

He managed to play out the match, however, was clearly hampered by the injury, collecting just seven possessions.

"He's pulled up a bit sore," West Coast football manager Craig Vozzo told the club's website on Tuesday.

"So he'll have a light week and we'll see where he's at later in the week."

Wellingham has played 16 matches so far this season, averaging 16.3 disposals, 3.7 marks and 2. tackles.
