“We are rapt an elite player of Pearce’s calibre has expressed a desire to join the Gold Coast Suns,” General Manager of Football Operations, Marcus Ashcroft, said.

    • Gordon Jones yeah sort of agree too but port hard to work out at moment. Could finish anywhere from 2nd to 18th in my opinion. Big gamble by lions to lose 19 this year.

    • Yeah as a lions supporter i see why we need the picks next year. Good forward thinking. Plus Hanly was attrocious this year for us with a terrible attitude. Best thing that he left as we dont want that rubbing off on our young group.

    • Simon Alexander Teunis yeah i hope you are right. My concern is the cycle we are in. We lose young guns for 3 years then now the seniors are going. Its one hand then the other. Then the young ones will leave cause no leadership etc. I’m having faith in coach but not much signs of immediate improvement yet and so coach will have to pay off….
