Collingwood has been fined $1,500 after forward Travis Cloke wore a non-compliant glove against GWS on Saturday afternoon.

He had worn approved gloves on previous occasions, but wore the new glove due to a finger injury he sustained two weeks ago.

The 29-year-old wore glove believing it had been approved by the AFL.

Cloke took 12 marks, kicked four goals and collected 20 possessions during the game.

The league contacted the club regarding the issue, receiving a formal letter in reply, before opting to fine the club for Cloke's unapproved hand wear.
