Travis Cloke wore a non-approved glove in the Magpies’ wins over Carlton and Greater Western Sydney on Saturday, but the Collingwood forward has escaped penalty after assuring the AFL he will not do so again.

Cloke was a regular glove wearer in the past but had not worn one for about a year prior to injuring two fingers on his right hand ahead of Collingwood’s round 15 clash against Carlton.
In an effort to protect his fingers, the Magpie veteran wore a slightly different glove to those he had previously worn, against the Blues and again last Saturday against GWS.
Cloke mistakenly believed the new glove had been approved by the AFL.
